Boutique manufacturing search · USA

We find the people who keep the line running.

Nexus Personnel is a boutique search and advisory firm for U.S. manufacturers. We place the skilled-trades, production, and engineering hires that gate your output, then bring the consulting and software to fix why the role keeps reopening. The calibre behind the search

Plant-floor knowledge, boardroom pedigree.

Nexus is a boutique by design. The people behind your search, and the associates we bring in when a mandate calls for it, have worked where the standards are highest: directing programs through the 2008 crisis in New York, advising Fortune 500 clients at a global consultancy, engineering at a Silicon Valley enterprise-tech leader, and consulting across four continents. The same firm that fills a machinist seat can sit across from your board.

The Nexus model

Three disciplines, one mandate: keep your floor staffed and moving.

Most agencies hand you a résumé and disappear. We treat a vacancy as a symptom. The same firm that fills the role can diagnose the workforce problem behind it and modernize the systems around it, because that's the bench we built.

01 / Personnel

Direct search

Targeted search for skilled trades, production, and engineering leadership. We work the plant-floor market through relationships, not job boards. Quality of placement over volume of submissions.

02 / Consulting

Management consulting

Workforce strategy, organizational design, and operational improvement. We turn chronic turnover and thin recruiting capacity into a plan your team can actually run.

03 / Digital

Digitalization & AI

Modernization, AI strategy, and custom software. From legacy systems to AI-driven hiring and operations, built and shipped to production.

Our approach

Our approach is hybrid by design. We combine artificial intelligence with experienced human recruiters, because each does something the other cannot, and the strongest hires happen where the two meet.

The technology

What the technology does

Our platform takes on the part of recruiting that is vast, tedious, and hard to do well by hand. It works across the entire market and narrows it on several dimensions at once: geography, skillset, education, depth of experience, and career-path progression. Instead of starting from the whole ocean of candidates, our recruiters begin with a focused, pre-qualified pool. The machine does the complex reasoning required to define who is genuinely worth considering.

Our people

What our people do

From that pool, our experienced HR team concentrates on the nuances that make or break a hire, the ones no machine can read: cultural fit, attitude toward colleagues and management, whether someone is a self-starter or waits to be directed, and how a person will fit the team they are joining. This is the human judgment that turns a strong match on paper into a hire that lasts.

The result

Technology for reach and precision, people for judgment and fit. Only a hybrid approach delivers both, and that is how we place the right candidate with the right company.

Services

What we deliver to the floor and the front office.

Engage one service or all three. Each is scoped to how your operation actually runs, so the work fits your plant instead of a template.

How we work

A focused process that moves at plant-floor pace.

No drawn-out discovery theatre. We learn the role, work the market, and deliver, then stay close enough to fix the system that created the vacancy.

Map the role

We sit with the people who own the outcome (plant manager, operations, HR) and define what "qualified" means on your floor, not on paper.

Work the market

We approach the local skilled-trades network directly, including the people who never touch a job board, and present a short, screened slate built for fit and retention.

Place & modernize

We close the hire, and where it helps, bring consulting and digitalization to attack the root cause, so the same req stops reopening every quarter.

Our Story

Built on one observation: a machine cannot hire a human.

Nexus Personnel began with a single observation. Our founder, Igor Pandurski, having worked across technology and industry, kept running into the same problem in the recruitment market: it is crowded with AI tools that are completely detached from human experience. They promise speed and scale, and they miss the one thing that matters most. A machine cannot hire a human.

Hiring is, and always has been, a human decision. The moment you take people out of the process, you lose the judgment that separates a candidate who looks right on paper from one who will actually succeed on the floor and stay for the long term.

Igor saw how to put the right pieces together: let technology handle what technology genuinely does best, and keep experienced people exactly where their judgment is decisive. To build it the right way, he partnered with a Recruitment Domain Subject Matter Expert with deep, hands-on experience in the field, so that the platform reflects how recruitment actually works in practice, not how it looks from the outside. That combination is Nexus Personnel.

Personnel & Management Consulting

The right hire changes everything; the wrong one costs you for months. Built on two decades leading recruitment desks for U.S. manufacturers, the firm understands how hiring really works on the plant floor, where the difference between a candidate who shows up and one who stays is everything. Its services span the full journey, from the first conversation about what a role really needs to the day a new hire finds their footing, and reach every level, from the operators who keep the lines moving to the leaders who set their course. Culture sits at the center of the approach, because skills can be taught but fit cannot.
